NSA Data Collection – Your Buddy List

According to a recent story in The Washington Post, the amount of information being collected by the NSA (National Security Agency) is much greater than was first reported, where the agency is collecting hundreds of millions of contact lists from personal email and instant messaging accounts worldwide – your “Buddy” list.  This most assuredly includes Americans, tens of millions according to two senior US intelligence officials.

A senior intelligence official has confirmed that the information regarding the capture of personal user data is correct and stems as a result of secret documents leaked by Edward Snowden.  The NSA claims it has no interest in personal details of “most” Americans, while not providing a definition of the term, “most”.

The NSA states, “”The National Security Agency is focused on discovering and developing intelligence about valid foreign intelligence targets like terrorists, human traffickers and drug smugglers.”  Additionally, “We are not interested in personal information about ordinary Americans. Moreover, we operate in accordance with rules approved by either the Attorney General or the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, as appropriate, designed to minimize the acquisition, use, and dissemination of any such information.”

The quantity of data collected is staggering.  According to The Washington Post, an internal NSA PowerPoint document indicated that approximately 250 million address books are collected each year from Yahoo, Hotmail, Facebook, Gmail, and others, or around 700,000 per day.

What’s extremely interesting is that the NSA has not been given permission to obtain this data as it is illegal to do so from the US, but circumvents the law by collecting it from other global interception points by secret arrangements with foreign telecommunications companies or allied intelligence services.

So, how is it that the NSA intercepts data from US companies abroad?  The reason is because all the companies listed above maintain data centers outside the US, which can then be accessed and used to capture data without breaking the law.

If the NSA obtains the data from sources outside the US, is it no longer a violation of the 4th Amendment?  It seems to be that it would be a violation as the 4th Amendment requires a warrant regardless of where information is obtained.

If you’re OK with the NSA having access to your personal data, then have no worries.  If you don’t appreciate the NSA having access to your personal information, then you should stop using Web-mail, like Gmail, Yahoo, etc. and purchase your own domain.  There are plenty of email clients that can be used with any domain, some with encryption capability.  Also consider no longer using Web-mail based instant messaging systems, as there are some independent proprietary providers working hard to get your business.

Starting Back Up

Wow, it’s been a very long time since I last blogged, nearly a year.  The November elections of 2012 marked my last posting and the reason is due to frustration.  I was and continue to be frustrated by the current political climate, which I’m sure the majority of Americans share.  My frustration starts with the liberal, neo-commie/socialists who have obtained a great stranglehold on the America that I grew up in.  Slowly they are choking it away and transforming us to something unlike we’ve seen before.  My frustration then extends across the isle, so to speak, to the Republicans who themselves who do not embrace the conservative values that, until just a couple of decades ago, made this country the envy of all other nations.  Unfortunately, these Republicans do more damage than good by being centrists.  They fail to realize that the liberals have and will continue to have all their minions in lockstep and so when Republicans think they’re “doing the right thing” by meeting Democrats half way, they’re actually giving up ground, whereas Democrats are trained to never give an inch as it would defeat their endgame.

So, here we are now with the latest crises; the government has been shutdown for around 2 weeks and the debt ceiling is about to be hit by government spending.

For weeks now the Republican House has offered spending bills to the Democrat controlled senate, only to have the bills ignored, while the lapdog media, which seems to operate as a 4th branch of government, has been complicit in finger-pointing to Republicans as the cause for the shutdown.  Never mind the issue of a spending problem, as it’s always best to paint your enemy as evil to avoid facts.

The biggest problem we truly have right now is the current occupant of the White House is a dictator.  I know these are harsh words, but I challenge you to prove me wrong.  I ask, what kind of “president” would blockade memorials that are situated in open space park areas, like the Lincoln Memorial or Washington Monument?  These, and many other park areas, do not require tickets for entrance, yet somehow the president thought it would be necessary to install steel blockades around the memorials to prevent people from enjoying the sites.  Unless I’m mistaken, every citizen of the United States owns a piece of each monument.  Monuments are not owned by the Federal Government who then allows its citizens to utilize them by sheer benevolence.

Have you had enough now?  I sure have!

Double Standard, By Fred Pickering

America, you might want to be sitting down before I tell you this but Al Sharpton is a hypocrite and a fraud.  I know that this is unexpected and unbelievable, especially considering his past behavior and the fact that he is a Reverend but stay with me.

First consider the following from the recently released book “Game Change” surrounding Harry Reid:  ‘He was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama – a “light-skinned” African American “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,” as he said privately.  Reid was convinced, in fact, that Obama’s race would help him more than hurt him in a bid for the Democratic nomination.’

Now enter Sharpton’s response: “I have learned of certain unfortunate comments made by Senator Reid regarding President Barack Obama and have spoken with Senator Reid about those comments. While there is no question that Senator Reid did not select the best word choice in this instance, these comments should not distract America…”  blah, blah, blah.

So let me get this straight, when a political figure makes comments that could plausibly be interpreted to have racist undertones and has a (R) next to his name (in the case of former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott), you call for him to step aside.  However, if you are lucky to have a (D) in front of your name and the comments are unequivocally racist, well then you should be cut some slack.  Did I get that about right?

And exactly what do you mean when you say that Reid did not select the best word choice?  How is that relevant?  As if the choice of words he used are the issue here and not the fact that he clearly espouses an inherently racist viewpoint.

I thought that you were a Champion of Civil Rights, Al.

Not a citizen, then no rights!

I’m not sure about you, but I’m very upset at how the “Underwear Bomber” case is being handled by our US Justice System which is now headed by Eric Holder.  There has been much debated on the subject of where and how this piece of garbage, bent on killing innocent people on Christmas Day, should be handled.

Let me sum it up for you by first stating that I’m no genious, but I’ve had some notion that a foreigner cannot be tried within our US Justice System. Being so frustrated by the continuous dismantling of our beloved US Constitution, I whipped out my pocket version to see if I could find and prove to myself that I’ve not gone off a cliff at 47. I cannot tell you how happy I was to discover I’m not a crack-pot but the irony in being right further exacerbates my anger of the present Federal Administration and lacky Justice Department in this case, and the complete and utter disregard for our guiding documents.  Seems like they all forgot or maybe never read the US Constitution, Amendment XIV Section 1 (that’s 14 for all you not able to dicipher Roman Numerals) as specifically states the following…I’m giving it here, word for word: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jursidiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

There you have it…it’s really quite simple to understand why the failed terrorist has NO right to a trial in the US Justice System. Using simple reverse logic here’s how: The Underwear Bomber was not born in the United States nor has he been naturalized in the United States, therefore he does NOT qualify for “due process” or “equal protection of the laws.”

Now, don’t expect me to share with you where this human drek should be tried because all that matters is that he cannot be tried in the US Justice System.  My understanding is that there are laws and precedents to deal with foreigners and war criminals which should be followed but once again are not.

An update on recent events:

• The devil incarnate pleaded “Not Guilty” to all six counts of attempting to blow up a jetliner even though there was smoke, fire, and burned testicles to prove he, IN FACT, tried to blow the plane up
• The devil incarnate is being represented by a team of 3 “A+” quality public defenders (why does he get 3 and there go our tax dollars along with our dignity)
• The devil incarnate stopped talking once his team of lawyers had been assigned (he should have been water-boarded)

Dear Jeanne Garofalo,

I enjoyed watching your appearance on Countdown to Keith Olbermann in which you very thoughtfully discussed the Tea Parties held all across America. I was especially moved by your grasp on the geopolitical landscape of our great Nation given your mounds of relevant experience on the subject.

I have to admit, during your appearance, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often.

Your generalizations that “the attendees had no idea what the Boston tea party was about” and “this is about hating a black man in the White House,” clearly display your unique ability to proclaim with certainty, the ideals that thousands of individuals possess without even having the opportunity to meet each and every one of them in person.

The phenomena might be declared impossible altogether if not for the fact that the daily lives of the Hollywood crowd are almost mirror images of those on Main Street, USA. I have got to give it to you. You have really nailed the “pulse” of America.

My favorite moment of the appearance revolved around your choice words regarding the attendees of the many hundreds of tea parties nationwide; “That is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks.” It was just so beautifully put and so absolutely profound! One only needs to view the footage to experience the love and the absolute tolerance that you have for persons whose geologic backgrounds and sexual proclivities are so diverse from that of your own. Bravo for putting on display the tolerance and acceptance that you and your ilk profess to champion, Jeanne!

I think it’s pretty safe to say that you have you have proven to be terribly out of touch with everyday Americans. The tea parties were not about racism. That assertion is totally without any basis, counterproductive and frankly, insulting. The tea parties were an inevitable reality caused by a Government that refuses to do the will of the people. Not the will of large corporations, special interest groups or lobbyists, but the will of the people whether it be curbing out of control spending and an expanding government or enforcing immigration laws. The tea parties were simply Democracy in its purest form.

Tell me again… What exactly is your issue with this?

Kevin Jennings – Sex Fornication With Minors Czar

Okay, America, enough is enough!  This is another case of f-buddy hiring by the Obama gang of kleptocratic thugs.

As I write this blog I cannot convey how repulsed I am by the vile piece of human garbage Kevin Jennings.  Jennings is currently serving as a senior presidential appointee to the US Department of Education.  Restated, he was appointed by Obama himself.  He is in a position to directly influence sex education of public school students.

In a nutshell, the man is perverse, disgusting, and putrid.  Hiding behind a veil of teaching tollerance for homosexuality at a conference held at Tufts University in 2000, which was sponsored by Jenning’s organization Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network, 14 year old students, who are minors, were provided graphic perverse sexual act demonstrations and materials that no parent in their right mind would have allowed their child to be taught.  Let me mention again that the students were 14 years old.  Let me also mention that I cannot bring myself to put in writing the details of what was taught and the materials provided.  I’m not a prude, it’s just plain vulgar!  And oh, by the way, I’m not making this up.  Revelations have come via tape recordings.

No words can adequately describe the repulsiveness of Kevin Jennings.  He is scum and human garbage.  He should not be in a position to teach our children ANYTHING.  He would do best teaching homosexual tollerance in prisons or in Iran or another Islamo-Facists country…but not here!

The Obama administration has an opportunity to answer and remove this crap, but I wouldn’t expect that to happen anytime too soon as this would disenfranchise at least part of the administrations gay and lesbian supporters.

Will O-bow-ma Give Away the US?

We’ve all heard of the upcoming climate control meeting in Copenhagen in which President Obama (O-bow-ma) has a chance to sign on to a doctrine that puts US sovereignty behind an international committee (of communists and socialists) designed to redistribute the wealth of developed countries to under-developed countries for the purpose of limiting carbon output.

Now comes the International Criminal Court (ICC) via the “Rome Statute”.  The Bush Administration declined to sign the US on to this leftist group and treaty for fear that the ICC would like nothing better than to try US soldiers for “war crimes”.  Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (remember her???) has already stated her regret that the US was not already a signor.  If O-bow-ma signs on, then our brave and courageous service men and women will be at risk of trial by an organization which has no hand in the direction and guidance of our Armed Services.  And, just how far reaching will ICC go?

Based upon the bowing we’ve all seen coming from the current administration, seems like O-bow-ma will sign on to both!

Who Are The Directors of Racism?

Imagine if Newt Gingrich said, “You can’t vote for healthcare and call yourself a white man.”  Take a moment to think about how the lame street media would trash him.  There is no doubt that Gingrich would be labeled a racist…aptly so.  In would come the civil rights groups calling for his head along with apologies and public service requirements.  There would probably senatorial hearings!

Now imagine if Rev. Jesse Jackson said, “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”  What do you think would happen?  Would the lame street media trash him?  Would the state run media even cover the comments?  Would there be gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands?  Would Jackson be labeled a racist?  Would there be senatorial hearings?  The answer is an overwhelming “NO”!  Absolutely nothing would be said.  And, this is exactly what Jackson said during a recent Congressional Black Caucus Foundation meeting commemorating the 25th anniversary of his run for president.

It seems to me that this type of rhetoric further perpetuates racial strain by simply associating skin color with “absolutism”.

Does the President even know what he’s talking about? Or rather, does his teleprompter really know what it’s talking about? One wouldn’t think.

Given the current economic and social climate here in the US, you’d think that Presbo would be more in touch with how China continues to strategically control our country. At last check, China holds over $800 billion in US debt bonds. Think about that for a minute. Where is the cash going to come from to pay back the bonds? More taxes is one possibility. Maybe we could give away some land? Who knows.

Funny isn’t it that the hottest selling souveniers and trinkets in China are of President Obama in the likeness of now deceased Chairman Mao. If you don’t know who Chairman Mao is (was), then check your history books and stop reading this blog!
